Burnside Cottage is an eco-friendly stylish bed and breakfast situated in Caithness and holds the Gold Award from Green Tourism in addition to a number of other accredditations. It is located just between Dunnet Head and John O’Groats, and 800m off the North Coast 500 route (NC500). It is also an ideal stop for those travelling to Orkney being just a couple of minutes from the Gills Bay ferry (Pentland Ferries).

Run by Kacey and Stephen George, the couple have developed their business over the years and offer a range of tasty meals, they even have a drinks license so they can offer their guests a selection of wines, spirits and beers.

In 2021 Kacey approached MacKenzie Business Solutions to create a new website for their thriving business incorporating a direct booking resource which would sync with major OTAs (Online Travel Agences) such as Air BnB and Booking.com.
