In 2005, David and Mairi MacKenzie opened Deli-Ca-Sea Fish & Chips in the scenic village of Ullapool. Their mission? Quality seafood with sustainable practices. Over the years, the business blossomed into a community favourite and an award-winning gem in Scotland’s culinary scene.

Deli-Ca-Sea earned its first Scottish Fish & Chip Award in 2023, proving their dedication to high standards. They didn’t stop there. In 2024, the accolades kept coming. They won Best Fish Supper North-West and were finalists for Best Team. They also received a “Highly Recommended” nod for Best Fish & Chip Shop in the region.

March 2024 marked a delicious new chapter. Deli-Ca-Sea opened a its Fish and Seafood Café beside their original chip shop. Customers now enjoy freshly prepared soups, main courses, seafood specials, and indulgent desserts—all in a warm and welcoming setting.

In partnership with MacKenzie Business Solutions, Deli-Ca-Sea launched a brand-new website in April 2025. The site showcases their mouth-watering menu, award history, and local pride. It’s designed to attract both loyal locals and curious visitors eager for a taste of Ullapool’s finest.
