Gordon Fleming aka “Gordon the Shennachie” set up Storyteller Tours to take visitors on a grand, entertaining and magical tour of the Highlands and Islands.

A man well versed in traditional stories, a fanatical amateur researcher of the natural world, the folklore, true history and shredder of false tales and propaganda!

Gordon is a former career soldier and then had a second management career in worldwide communications and the mobile phone networks. After 6 years’ experience with other tour companies on the Highlands and Islands routes, the decision was made to run his own tours and minivan, Storyteller Tours was launched.

In the summer of 2022, Gordon entrusted MacKenzie Business Solutions to craft a website for Storyteller Tours, emphasising the unique charm of each tour. The site features stunning imagery of Gordon in traditional Highland dress, showcasing his authentic style rather than the usual clean-cut look. A user-friendly booking calendar allows visitors to submit inquiries for specific dates, ensuring a seamless planning experience. This project beautifully captures the spirit of Gordon’s engaging storytelling and Highland heritage.
